It is kind of difficult to hide the markings of suspenders underneath your clothes, unless you wear a coat on top of a shirt.

A relatively easy piece of belt would always be as discreet as you wish it to be. You would not have to worry about growing out of it because belts are known to withstand the test of time. Leather belt are probably the best in terms of weather-proof fashion details. You would not have to worry about your belt going out of style ever. All you need to do is to choose a simple belt buckle that would go along with your preference.
